Privacy notice
Back to the gameSnowride is a browser game. We keep data collection to what is needed to run the game, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account: an email address and username for registered accounts. Anonymous play uses an ephemeral guest identity with no email.
- Gameplay: run results, replay (ghost) envelopes and leaderboard entries.
- Virtual economy: owned items and purchase records for in-game coins. There is no real-money payment data.
- Social: friendships, blocks, party membership and notification preferences.
- Operational logs and audit records on our own infrastructure.
Why we process it
To provide the game and its multiplayer, economy and leaderboard features; to prevent cheating and abuse; and to keep the service secure and reliable.
Retention
Gameplay and account data are retained while the service operates. Deleting your account removes your account and its dependent gameplay, economy, social and progression records. Operational assurance ledgers hold execution metadata only.
Service providers
We use Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare (network and CDN), DigitalOcean Spaces (backup storage) and ntfy.sh (operator alerting). These providers process data only to deliver those functions.
Your controls
From the game screen, open Privacy & data to download a copy of your data or delete your account. You can also contact the operator (MaineCyberTech) for access or erasure requests.
This notice reflects the recorded Privacy Impact Assessment and subprocessor register for the Snowride deployment.
